RULES:
Power Snooker uses the same format as standard snooker, with a few notable exceptions. Unlike snooker, there is a 20 second shot clock, meaning any player who takes longer than 20 seconds to play their shot will incur a foul. There is also the 'power ball', which acts as a red, and, once potted, starts a 2 minute 'power play' in which all points score double. Additionally, any shot where the cue ball is in the 'power zone' (behind the baulk line) will score double points, meaning a black ball potted from the power zone in the power play will score 28 points, rather than the normal 7! The game is also played over a set time limit rather than over a set number of frames. Once all the balls are potted, the clock is stopped and the balls are re-racked for a new frame. Whoever has the most points once the time limit is reached is the winner.
